Yes, I had really bought an egg that cost me RM1.05 for one.
Why so expensive? Because this is not normal egg, it is claimed to be Pasteurized DHA Eggs!
Wow. The name seems to be very “to kong” (powerful).
This is how it look like. In a pack of 6, it cost RM6.30.

The packaging was nicely sealed. I found it quite attractive. haha.
This is how it look like after open it up. There is a small booklet to explain to you what are the different between pasteurized egg and normal egg.

I googled on the web and found some useful information about eggs:
- Next to mother’s milk, egg is the second most nutritious food for human consumption
- Do not wash the eggs before use as that would remove the protective layer which covers the pores of the shell during the hen laid the eggs. This will increase the potential for bacteria on the shell to enter the egg
- Don’t keep eggs out of the refrigerator more than 2 hours.
- To prevent eggs form absorbing other odors and flavors, keep them in their original carton
Anyhow, this is the most expensive egg I had ever bought and EAT TOO !!
“Shhh….don’t tell other, actually it taste the same..”
