Yesterday I was damn pissed off. I was spending some quality time with my family at Jusco Equine Park until I meet this stupid @sshole promoter from cheater AOWA road show.
AOWA is a new brand (lousy one) so they are doing road show to bring up their brand. To attract people, they “cheated” people like me by saying that there is FREE GIFT when we join the PHOTO HUNT contest as shown below:
This particular promoter, introduce herself as Christina, approach me and my parents. Politely we spent some time to join the photo hunt as well as fill in some forms. We know that it was the tactic while you filling up the form, they will introduce/promote the product that they are selling. It’s OK with me actually.
BUT this particular Christina, don’t even show some effort in introducing the product. She keep talk about her grandmother story, asking about my grandfather story, summary, she talk cock!! Damn annoying.. Beh Tahan.
Since I’m not happy with her attitude already, I plan to leave. I ask for the free gift that she promised earlier but she give a lot of excuses and don’t plan to give it to me. She kept me waiting for so long but then she start to serve other people. End up, I don’t get anything.
I had wrote a complaint email to their management but there is no action taken so far. I think this AOWA brand will go down the drain very soon if continue like this.
I’m damn pissed off!! THIS IS THE BASTARD!! She try to run away when I try to take her photo.

this AOWA brand if not mistaken has been existing since 4-5 years ago… I saw their shop b4 at Times Square… being approached by them also at sg wang by 3-5 promoters.. all with fake faces and expressions telling me i won something from the scratch and win. end up i din buy anything but insist on the free gift mentioned earlier, bbq set…

Tung, you should have rolled on the floor, did some legs kicking, screamed and then cried and then pulled your own hair, and cried some more .. yeah basically just make a big fuss out of it and attract attention.
3 things might happen:
1. they will quickly give you free gift.
2. they will quickly close shop and leave
3. you stand up, smile and then leave, and you just be the hero of the day …and remember to shout out your blog URL. attract more traffic :p

oh dear… tough luck on you man. You should have shouted to see her supervisor/manager in charge..
but this AOWA also a bit funny.. organise event also can have a lot of grammar mistakes on the game and promoters sucks as well, negative results in the end..
haha.. I wish it luck when it reaches the drain..

This AOWA is everywhere and all the products they give or sell are cheap cheap stuff. got a lots of story for this AOWA which is bad. Many "strategies" they use to convince people to swipe their cards. got to be careful.

Business tactics. Same like in the KTM. In sentral, some guy gave me a 'free' celcom sim card. I took it, then he wanted to promote it. My train arrived and i wanted to just get out of there. He noticed and took away my 'free' simcard =.="

once in their clutches ..hard to disentangle. but once they know u r not interested they save the free gift for others. i try to avoid them whenever possible. If they need promoters, their product needs aggressive promotion, their product couldnt b that good. a good product sells itself and mainly by that infallible method by word of mouth

My mother has just been duped by this company and the last time we were there to complain was August 4. They are still open in Cebu City and maybe Supersawsaw can tell us which office to go to make sure they stop their deceptive selling tactics.
